Halo 3
So I just received my beautiful copy of Halo 3 this afternoon. It’s a such a wonderful game. It’s pretty much better than anything I expected from a Halo game. It definitely surpasses the “Generic Shooter” title that the previous two have received in the past.
So, I played around in Matchmaking for a bit and I seem to be getting the hang of it again. I am now currently playing the campaign on Normal, but I will probably go and attempt Legendary one day.
Multiplayer is intense, but fun. I have played like 15 matches or something close to that. All I have to say is that I won’t be putting this game down anytime soon.
My gamertag is Jonschmiddy if anyone wants to play with me.
Thoughts on: Proverbs 27:17
As iron sharpens iron,
so one man sharpens another.
This verse actually has many meanings. It was a lot easier for me to understand than last week’s verse, too.
It means how we all teach, help, and learn from one another; and how our actions may positively or negatively affect the people around us. It tells us to set good examples for our friends and family, for it may (and probably will influence them).
At LCC, you learn things from people you don’t expect to learn from and you learn lessons that you would never think you would learn.
At our Youth Ministry, (especially this week
) you can learn about forgiveness and how everyone makes mistakes. You learn about the Scripture from Pastor Jaimie and how to study and apply it’s teachings to everyday life.

Amazing video of a 12-year-old child prodigy, who’s faith inspires her paintings in amazing detail. You will be both amazed and inspired by this video.
Thoughts on: Luke 22:25-27
25 Jesus said to them, “The kings of the nations hold power over their people. And those who order them around call themselves Protectors. 26 But you must not be like that. Instead, the most important among you should be like the youngest. The one who rules should be like the one who serves. 27 “Who is more important? Is it the one at the table, or the one who serves? Isn’t it the one who is at the table? But I am among you as one who serves.
This verse was confusing at first, then the real meaning of it came to me; I had to read it a few times actually.
It is about how we shouldn’t care about our social status or rank in society, and that we should focus our time on serving each other and serving the Lord.
It made me feel good about living in a kingdom not based on gold or silver, but based off of the richness of your spirit.
Driver’s Permit
Yeah,
I got it finally! I should have got it two weeks ago, but I failed it (by one question); I learned a good lesson from that experience. My mom took me driving around the neighborhood for a few hours and I really am getting the hang of driving.
I think I am going to be really good at this really soon.
School tomorrow.
I start school tomorrow, I will be a Sophomore. My schedule is pretty great for this year, it doesn’t seem that hard.
